Well done the Science Department!

The theme for this year for British Science Week was “Change”, during this week we had several events that encouraged the pupils to think about and investigate the changes happening in the world around us.
On Tuesday we tried to ‘catch a rainbow’. This artsy activity helped us to discover the scientific secrets of soap and create a beautiful explosion of colours at the same time.
On Wednesday we looked at ‘changing states’. We turned simple household ingredients into a foaming eruption, like that of a volcano!
Thursday was ‘Demo day’ and pupils looked at the changes in weather. We produced clouds, rain and thunderstorms all from inside the Laboratory
