More about our Chaplain….
|I started as Chaplain to St. George’s School in September 2012 and am really pleased to be part of such a great team. I enjoy being with our pupils and getting to hear how life and faith are for them.
Secondary School and the teenage years can be tough for all sorts of reasons. I admire our pupils’ enthusiasm and resilience, and feel privileged to be in a position to offer help and support.
My favourite Bible stories are the parables Jesus told about the lost – the lost coin, the lost sheep and the lost son. I’m always
amazed at the lengths the seekers in the stories will go to in order to find what – or who – has been lost. I believe this is just what God is like; he goes the extra mile to be with us, because he loves us so much. This fact inspires my ministry.
I adore chocolate and nearly always have a stash in my office. My favourite past times – when I get a spare moment – are clothes shopping, walking by the sea, playing chess, talking football with my boys, making cakes with my daughter, meeting my friends and gardening.
