Careers related to subjects.
If you are starting to think about what career you might like to pursue in the future or what options to choose a good starting point can be researching what types of careers link to different subjects. The skills you learn whilst studying different topics often link to different careers or employment sectors, for example biology can link to a career in health. By looking at careers that link to your favourite subjects and the things you enjoy you may start to build an idea of the careers that may suit you.
Maths and English skills are needed in some way in all careers, as well as in everyday life which is why they are ‘core subjects’ that everyone takes. Science also links to many different careers and our understanding of the world around us, which makes studying it important.
